Measuring for Roll-up Awnings

The following are instructions as to how to measure for roll-up awnings. Please follow the steps one-by-one and then order with confidence.

NOTE: The recommended sizing below is based on a 2/3 drop (or coverage) of the window area. To learn more about "drop" see our illustration.

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Measure the Height of the window.

2. Check this chart to see what size awning that you need to purchase.

If the Window Height is 36" or LESS a

If the Height is between 36" - 48" a

If the Height is between 49" - 60" a

If the height is between 61" - 72" a

If the height is between 73" - 84" a

Mini (24-1/2" drop)

Small (30-1/2" drop))

Medium (36-1/2" drop)

Large (42-1/2" drop)

X-Large (48-1/2" drop)

3. Measure the width of the window adding on 6" (six inches to each side)

4. These are the correct measurements for your new awning. If you have any questions, please refer to our FAQ's (frequently asked questions).

EXAMPLE: If your window measures 43" high and 82" wide it is recommended that you purchase a Small that is 94" wide. (Remember to add in that 6" on each side to get the correct width for your window.
